Don spent his life in service.
Service
in the Navy for 20 years, service
to his family in caring for
our mother,
service to his community by serving on the
library
board, working with Little League, and various
other community activities.
We miss you Don.
We will never forget you.
He passed through our lives too quickly,
Seems like he just came back from the sea.
He tended to his mother's and town's needs,
And did it unselfishly.
He touched our lives with humor and wit
and was a great part of the family,
But now he has gone back
to where he was most comfortable,
To the sea, to the sea, to the sea.
